Church Covenant
Having been brought by God's grace to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and having been baptized upon our profession of faith, we now, relying on His gracious aid, joyfully covenant together as members of Harvest Church:
We covenant to love God with all our hearts and to love one another and our neighbors with Christlike compassion, pursuing unity, peace, forgiveness, and truth in love.
Matthew 22:34–40
We covenant to be a praying people, depending daily on God for His presence, power, and provision, and committing ourselves to faithful participation in the life, worship, and mission of the church.
Matthew 6:9–13
We covenant to build our lives on God's Word, submitting joyfully to Scripture and seeking lives of obedience, holiness, and repentance by God's grace.
2 Timothy 3:16–17
We covenant to make disciples, stewarding our gifts for the building up of the church and bearing faithful witness to Christ locally and among the nations.
Matthew 28:16–20
We covenant to live with an eternal perspective, holding the things of this world loosely, giving generously, and fixing our hope on Christ and His coming kingdom.
2 Corinthians 4:16–18
We joyfully affirm the Statement of Faith of this church, submit ourselves to its loving and restorative care under the authority of Christ, and commit, should we move away, to unite with another gospel-preaching church.
